His life
Who was Carlo Acutis?
Carlo Acutis was born in London on May 3, 1991, to Italian parents, and grew up in Milan. He loved the Eucharist, went to Mass every day, and used his gift for computers to build an online exhibition of the Eucharistic miracles of the world.
He died of leukemia in Monza, Italy, on October 12, 2006, at fifteen. He was beatified in Assisi in 2020, and Pope Leo XIV canonized him on September 7, 2025, together with St. Pier Giorgio Frassati. He is buried in Assisi, and his feast day is October 12.
